Our Ethos

At Conversational Partners, we believe that meaningful change is born through connection, as no one flourishes in isolation. Our work is rooted in the belief that transformation is not a solo pursuit, but a shared journey. We walk alongside our clients with a commitment to:

A relational approach

Because trust and connection are the bedrock of transformation.

Therapeutic insight

Bringing emotional intelligence to leadership, culture and wellbeing.

Systemic thinking

Recognising that people flourish when the systems they’re part of are healthy, inclusive and responsive.

Curiosity over judgement

Creating space for open inquiry and understanding, rather than just correction.

Community & collective care

The recognition that performance is built on the principle that long-term success is driven by teams that support, priorities collective strengths and hold each other accountable.

Hi, I am Hendrix, the founder of Conversational Partners, a consultancy dedicated to helping organisations become more psychologically safe, relational and inclusive environments where people and teams can truly thrive. With over 15 years’ experience spanning the public, private, and voluntary sectors, I bring a unique blend of systemic psychotherapy, leadership development and organisational consultancy to strengthen relationships and foster meaningful connection within workplaces.

Drawing on my background as a psychotherapist, organisational consultant and leadership coach, I work at the intersection of emotional insight, identity and systemic change. I typically partner with leaders and teams to navigate complexity, cultivate cultures of psychological safety and examine the relational and structural forces that shape organisational life. Known for combining rigour with warmth, authenticity and a deep respect for human complexity, my passion is to creates spaces where people feel heard, valued, and able to flourish.

My name is Kitty McGilchrist and as an Associate with Conversational Partners, I can provide therapy, coaching, group facilitation and consulting. I promote reflective practice and exploration of relational dynamics that have an impact on how we form relationships on both a personal and professional level.

I bring a wealth of experience in private and corporate settings, helping businesses explore diversity, change, conflict and interpersonal dynamics, and individuals with their personal challenges. Both environments can bring discomfort for individuals, navigation of which must be within a safe and supportive relationship. This is at the core of my practice as I see it as paramount in order to achieve growth and repair.

I am a qualified Counselling Psychotherapist and member of the BACP and believe the best work can be achieved when it is built on a strong foundation between individuals and I will enter our work with transparency and integrity in support of achieving the best outcome for all involved.

I look forward to working with you.

I’m a Clinical Psychologist and Systemic Practitioner with experience working across NHS and community settings. My work often brings together direct clinical practice with a focus on equity, inclusion, and service transformation. I have led initiatives in quality improvement and co-produced a Young People’s Forum to ensure that services are shaped by those who use them.

Previously, I worked in a community psychology service supporting young men affected by cycles of poverty and exclusion. This experience deepened my understanding of how to embed psychological support in community spaces, the power of co-production, and the importance of recognising where knowledge and influence sit.

Alongside my clinical work, I am an Associate Lecturer in systemic practice and have delivered teaching at both the University of Hertfordshire and the University of Oxford. My current research explores how systemic therapy might expand beyond families and couples to recognise the role of friendships as vital relational resources.

My practice is grounded in values of collective care, equity, and social justice. I am particularly interested in how communities and relationships can respond to injustice and support wellbeing.
